BMW says that the cars will be sent first to the 40 authorized BMW centers to get certified in US with a MSRP of around $81,060. BMW M3 will not support manual transmissions.

- Avoid polishing or waxing the vehicle.
- Do not use polishes, glazes, or compounds on the surface of the paint.
- Secure surface applications include BMW insect remover and car shampoo.
- Insect remains, resins, tar spots, oils etc. must be removed immediately from the surface of the car using quality products.
- Damage in paint should only be repaired by a BMW-trained body shop.
- Give special attention while painting a panel with matte finish.
