Honda Civic Si is a custom designed Sedan for sports car enthusiasts. The Si has a special version of the intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID) which will be placed in the Civic's instrument panel.
i-MID can be set to show the info you need most. i-MID also comes with a unique power monitor mode to show the current engine output as a percentage of peak horsepower.
By displaying the status of Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, i-MID allows you to make hands-free calls.
Civic Si comes with a 2.4-liter, 16-valve, DOHC i-VTEC® engine that produces 201 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque which shows an increase of 22 percent when compared with the previous generation of Si engines.
Because of the Weight-saving technologies Civic delivers an impressive mileage of 22 city/31 highway mpg[1].
6-speed manual transmission is perfectly paired with the Si's helical limited-slip differential which gives an awesome feel during handling and controllling.
A series of six sequential lights indicate the speed of the rising engine. Release of the sedan is expected by the end of 2011.
